Cedars-Sinai New Grad Program Summer 2010

Just wanted to start a thread for Cedars 2010 Grad program. Anyone heard back yet? What are your stats?

I heard that emails will be sent out on April 2. I think the email will invite people to their open house.

I haven't heard anything back yet either. Hope they send the emails soon. Goodluck to all of us.

They will send emails on April 2 for those who are chosen for the interview and for further instructions. God bless ;)

I never heard back, wasted my whole day checking my email every 5 minutes. I can't imagine what they are looking for. I've got a bachelor's, graduated with honors, ACLS, PALS, held an internship in the OR, and already passed my NCLEX. What kind of candidates are we up against if I didn't even qualify for a phone interview? I'm getting very discouraged about finding a job and am starting to question why I got into nursing in the first place. Anyone else feel this way?

Also, if you did hear back, what is your bio? What made you stand out?

Don't get discouraged. I don't think they've notified anyone yet. I'm guessing someone will post as soon as they hear something. Maybe today? Lots of people had Friday off because of the holiday weekend.

But maybe I'm too optimistic!

yey! I got an email today at 1136 PST. It says I was selected to participate in the first phase of the interview process! good luck to all those who got emails! :):redbeathe HR increasing!

I also got selected to interview, unfortunately my cumulative GPA is a 3.45. The minimum GPA they want is a 3.5... is that nursing GPA or cumulative?? I think I will email them because I definitely have a > 3.5 gpa in my nursing courses... Good luck everyone!

I got a letter as well and I am only using my nursing school GPA. I replied to the email and asked for an interview. And so should you!

I just replied to the email! I will just give them my nursing GPA because it's much better. Good luck, have they sent you an email back on when to interview? :) How many phases of the interview process are there? 2? I am excited :yeah::yeah::yeah: Good luck!

So I also got the email saying I was selected for phase one "phone interview." But it then said to email to set up the interview if I have a 3.5GPA. I broke down in tears. I only have a 3.2, which was hard enough to get. So what do I do? Does that mean I can't even have my interview? I've been job hunting for 6 months solid, and this is the first bite I've had... and now I feel so sad to feel eliminated so quickly. Help please. :crying2:
