I apologize for being new and asking so many questions, but I'm very excited and nervous about pursuing an education/career in the nursing field and I'm a bit overwhelmed and confused! So I'd really appreciate any input and help with the following questions:

1. I've been a flight attendant for a long time and this will be my first time ever going to college. In order to be eligible to apply to the nursing program, are the only class requirements the 3 pre-reqs, or will I be required to take other general classes beforehand as well?

2. Are online courses done at my availability, or would I have to be logged in at certain times? With my flying schedule, it would be a tremendous help if I didn't have a set schedule for these (can you tell this is all new to me haha!).

3. Can I register for the HESI exam before I've completed my pre-reqs, or do those need to be completed first?

Again, sorry for being a pest and sounding ignorant, but this is all so new to me. Thank you for any input!

I took some online classes at Macomb and in my experience it could mostly be done at your own pace except the exams were generally only available one day and had to be taken within a certain time frame. As for the pre-req/HESI questions...I took the HESI last year when it was slightly different. I think you can take it before finishing pre-reqs but you have to be done with the required 3 classes before the application deadline. Have you looked at the Nursing packet on MCC's website? That should have all the required info in it about deadlines and stuff. Feel free to ask any other questions you have! I can try to help!

No problem! I remember how overwhelming it was when I was getting ready to apply! MCC has a great program though. I have had FANTASTIC instructors.
