book, educational materal ??

I am looking for a resource "101 tips every nurse should know" . My copy has grown legs and gone on vacation. I am not sure of the title. This is a quick reference book with every-day tips and general info. Example; when starting an IV and all the veins have gone south for the winter use your penlight to warm the puncture site and the vien will magicaly appear.

Hmm....never heard of such a book? Are you maybe referring to Nursing magazines 101 Tips and Timesaver's booklet? I think its still in publication. Check the Lippincott, Williams and WIlkins website at http://www.lww.com

Try the web. Use the keyword textbook, and go from there. You may find more books than you can ever use, and usually the price is quite reasonable.:)
