Keeping in touch

I know this has been asked many times before, but I was just wondering if anyone had any advice for me about having a boyfriend through nursing school.

My boyfriend and I have been dating for three-and-a-half years, and we really do love each other. We have talked about marriage, but I know there could always be a possibility of us not being together or breaking up; I have to face reality on that one. He has told me that he will support me through this, and that he is very proud of me. I was just wondering if anyone had any tips on keeping in touch with each other, and stuff that has worked for you guys with longtime boyfriends/girlfriends, spouses, or fiances. My family is good about me calling them when I get the chance, but my boyfriend gets worried about me sometimes, and we need to find a way to handle this. Thanks for hearing me out!

My husband and I were married for year when i started nursing school. the key is to make time for him. even if it is just 30 minutes. My husband supports me but at times I forgot he existed. I am glad he came and talk to me about it instead of doing something drastic. Just remember he is supporting you in your education so please do not forget he is in the picture.

By the way I graduate in May 2008 and my husband and I are still going strong.:nuke:
