Help! I have to create a resume and letter of application for my Contemporary Nursing class. First of all, this is something I am very not good at and second of all, I haven't had that much nursing experience. I've never worked in a hospital and the only nursing experience I've had was during clinicals in which I haven't had chance to do much. I've never even got lucky to put in an I.V. or Foley Catheter. How am I supposed to create this great resume with no experience? Help!

use your clinicals as experience..you could say something like I have completed clinical rotations (list all units). Each rotation has enabled me to work both independently and interdependently with people and health care team members in a hospital setting, My clinical experiences have provided me with opportunities to assist RN's in administering direct patient care and helping patients perform daily activities of daily living.

Don't forget other relevant experience such as anything you have done that included working with the public. If you think long and hard, you may be able to come up with comparable skills you have used in other fields or endeavors.
