I485 additional evidence

I have just received an e-mail from CRIS stating that they mailed me a letter ,requesting additional evidence for my I 485 application. I 140 was approved.What can it be?

You should be asking that to your lawyer and/or agency. It's a case-to -case basis but hope you could share it w/ us here at allnurses once you know.

I will share it with you guys once I know. I am was just wondering if somebody had similar experience...

They may ask for your VSC if you have not submitted it with your application and they may also ask pay stubs for the past four months.

HI!

These are the documents USCIS is requesting for additional evidence in my case:

1) Photocopy of for I- 797 Approval notices for all extensions and changes of status

2) Photocopy of form I-20 or IAP school records

3) Photocopy of I-94

I don't really understand we sent all those documents and all of the above documents are from immigration.....?????

Things sometimes get misplaced or misfiled at immigration and then you have no choice but to submit what they are asking for again.

At least you know what they are looking for and can provide it right away. They may also want any extensions that you got since your actual petition was submitted.

As I have said all along, they were going to be getting pickier and pickier as the time goes on.
