I am using the publishing company TCN to get through my prerequisites and then will enrolling in the Indiana State University Online BSN Program.

I am very excited about this opportunity and even though I have along way to go, I know I will get there. Best part is...NO CPNE!

You do your clinicals locally with preceptors and I love that!

ANyway...Just wandering if anyone else is doing this program and how far you are? I need all the support I can get. Im taking Sociology now...How is the CLEP for this?

I know Speech is a prereq. Do you really get to do Speech online? I took this class before and got a D. I didn't retake it (a D is still considered passing-barely) because it was just a general ed requirement for the degree (Sociology not nursing) and not actually a part of my major as it is for the nursing programs in CA. I swear if I have to take this class over again (in a classroom) I will need some anti-anxiety meds.

I am also taking prereq for ISU. I am taking American History 1 and will test out next Thursday using CLEP. Sociology was my first CLEP and it is a good one to start with and you will do fine!

Are you finding that some of your co-workers think your crazy , when you tell them your going to be enrolled in Indiana State University and get a BSN online? I live in Fl and most of the response I am getting is like AH H Honey, what line did they feed you? Its funny. Anyway..just wandering what kind of response your getting.

I am just SO CONFUSED with all the info out there, that I honestly don't know where to start and don't have the time or money to get ripped off on any unecessary books or courses.
