Twin Cities Nursing Schools

Seems like many nurses are graduates from St. Catherine's. Is St. Catherine's considered one of the top nursing schools in the twin cities? What is the University of Minnesota's reputation?

In your opinion, which is the best nursing school in the twin cities?

I am not sure, but I am applying to the University of Minnesota School of Nursing this fall and it seems to have a great reputation. I have no idea which school is the best in the Twin Cities or what I am going to do if I don't get into that school because I REALLY want to go into nursing.

I would say both St Kates and the University have excellent programs and reputations.

In my experience, St Kate graduates are very loyal to their school and leave their programs with a definite fondness for their time there. I don't have the same sense from nurses who graduate from the University. Of course, that is just IMHO.
