I am a sophomore at the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities. I am applying to the nursing school this year, but I am in a weird situation. The nursing school here is very hard to get into. If I don't get in I really don't want to change schools, but I would still love to go into nursing. I have so many good friends here and the last thing I want to do is transfer and start all over. I am caught in between what I want to do in life and staying with people who make my life very happy. Does anyone have any advice they could give me? It is stressing me out so much... !

I am in a pickle here. I am currently enrolled at the University of Minnesota and I am trying to transfer into the School of Nursing. The reason I am in a pickle is because I am not at all 100% that I can get into this school, but I am about 99% sure that I want to do nursing. Should I start applying to different schools around the area for their nursing schools or what? I am a good student so I could get in at other places, but the School of Nursing at the U is very hard to get into now and I would like very much to get in there. THANKS FOR THE HELP!

I am not sure, but I am applying to the University of Minnesota School of Nursing this fall and it seems to have a great reputation. I have no idea which school is the best in the Twin Cities or what I am going to do if I don't get into that school because I REALLY want to go into nursing.
