What is a typical day like?

Do you work 3 days a week like RN or a 40/5 day work week? DO they have day/night positions or is mostly days? Any insights would be appreciated. Thanks,

A variety of everything. Depends where you work and what you get hired into. I knew one guy that worked 2/24 hour shifts a week...others that work 3/12's and others that work 5/8's and still others that only work part time, some only 1 day a week doing outpatient plastics. Whatever your work style or want there is more than likely a position out there that will fit your style.

That 24 hour, 2 days a week deal seems pretty damn sweet to me......I can't imagine.....

He loved it. Regular cases during the day. In-house call at night. Always got some sleep at night to boot.
