Hello, I'm diabetic and I was just wondering what do other diabetic nurses and cna's do with your stuff while at work? I carry my meter, insulin pen and snacks in my pockets so I can use them right away if I need to. But it's so bulky and after 11 years as a nurse, I'm tired of doing it this way. I tried an insulin pump and it malfunctioned which scared me so much I told my endo I'd just go back to MDI. Anyway I'm thinking about putting my gear in a fanny pack type thing that I've seen some nurses wear. But I'm not crazy about that idea lol. How do you guys keep your insulin and stuff near by so you can get to it quickly?
