What would you do if you knew a nurse mislabeled lab specimens indicating the specimens were drawn at least 2 hours later than actually drawn? For instance, labs drawn at 1300 are labeled drawn at 1500. I believe they were for drug troughs, too, which can affect the amount of med the patient subsequently receives. It would be obvious I was the one reporting, but it concerns me that patient meds may be adjusted according to this. Your opinions?
