To those of you waiting for anything from CGFNS, I must tell you this. I applied for my visascreen 6 weeks ago and my online status shows that familiar statement we all know and love 'Ready for Review'.

Yesterday I emailed them to enquire as to how long it would be until they get around to reviewing it and I got a reply within 2 hours!! This must surely be a record! Furthermore, they say they have everything they need from me and will issue my Visascreen within the next week!!

I'm so surprised at their prompt response that I just had to share it with you all. Maybe things are beginning to improve there, I hope so.

Great news.........

I had no problems with CGFNS...I applied for visa screen ..2 days after they recieved my english exam results they mailed my visa screen...same with CGFNS cerification. I applied for visa screen on february....passed my IELTS April 17th...recieved my results May 06 and my visa screen mailed to me on May 24th

In my case, I have to wait for two months before I got my visa screen certificate after sending in the application.

In my sister case, she sent the application, a week after, ICHP issued her visa screen certificate.
