Zipadeedoda!

Just wanted to say that I had an AWESOME day at work. Four residents told me that they love me and I am a great aide. We had THREE aides on the hall tonight!! Everything got done completely and early. My favorite nurse thanked me and told me she appreciated me!

I have been home three hours and I am totally rested and relaxed.

Now I have to clean my shoes. That is a whole other story. By the by..... How does one avoid stepping in BM whilst giving showers?

Regarding Part I: :hpygrp:

Regarding Part II:

Are there buckets in the shower room that attach to the shower chairs? We put a plastic trash bag in one, then it catches all the urine and BM during the shower (and a bit of water, too :)). After the shower is over you just dump it out or tie the bag shut and pitch it in the dumpster. Voila.

Hooray for you! That must make you feel good.

Coffee, that is such a great idea. That happened everytime while I was in clinicals. Ive never heard of that, but if I get a job I will see if I can do this idea :)?

Sounds like my day on Sunday night

I love those days....but then Monday comes around and it just brings the question "why does everything seem to be crazier during the week?" And my mind slipped....and I forgot to get the height of one of my residents. Remembered right as I was stepping out the door.

I still haven't managed to perfect giving a shower without getting soaked from the knees down.

Congrats on having such an awesome day! I hope it is repeated an array of times ahead.
