Your GPA for OCC?

Published

I'm trying to get an idea of where I'm gonna be once they start accepting applicants.

So whats your GPA?

I'm applying for Fall '09 and my GPA is 3.91. (I hope I can get in to the "accelerated" RN program if they do it again this year!)

What's yours?

3.97 one A- i think we'll be good, but why am i still nervous??

Don't be nervous. The only thing that stinks is that the admission process is out of your hands until March :)

Depending on my grade in A&PII, I'll be between a 3.8 and 3.93ish.....

Good luck to you both. I'm also a student at OCC, with a GPA of 3.921. However, I will not be applying this semester, because I found WCCCD to be a better program. Its closer to my house, and its alot cheaper starts at 56.05 a credit and the admit TWICE A YEAR....

You all shouldn't have a problem getting in, because of your GPA, and bu the way logique who are you taking for A & P II... I have Uchwat, and he's making this semester tough!!!!

how many total students does WCCCD accept every year?

how many total students does WCCCD accept every year?

They accept 120 students for August admission and 120 students for January admissions. They are changing their guidelines for August 2009 admissions so make sure that you attend an application meeting if you are not a student already.

Thanks for the heads up.. I've already attended a info session, and have registered for classes....

:heartbeat

I tried for the the 08' LPN program and was denied with a 3.72gpa(gpa is based on the Priority-1 classes not the overall which was much higher). Anyhow I waited a year and was accepted w/ the same gpa. If you want to be accepted the first time around I suggest getting the highest GPA you can. Do not try to breeze through classes w/ a B grade. It seems to me pre-reqs to get into the nursing program @ least @ OCC and im assuming any respectable college/university relies heavily on putting what you have learned in previous classes to work.
