Your advice???!

Ok I have just Grad High school, and i thought I would be so happy and not stressed out now that finals are over....but ofcourse now i find myself stressing about nursing school.

My problem is that The community college here has "one of the largest nursing programs in california" so they have a lottery system and it can take up to 5 years for you to be picked...So i am freaking out thinking "i am going to be taking all of these pre reqs which will probably take me at least a year and 1/2 and then am going to wait and wait to get in? so now i am really thinking about doing the lvn to rn program which isnt as bad of a wait and doesnt require as many pre reqs. ANY ADICE WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED :p

With love,

why don't you look at BSN programs. I know that the program I am in doesn't maintain a waiting list, but all the CC in the areas do.

But in the meantime, have a wonderful and fun summer and deal with pre-reqs in the fall.

I agree, take the pre-reqs and I would apply to as many places as possible. Additionally, don't stress, wait till you're actually in college and taking courses that are on your record forever and waiting for ANY acceptance letter. Stress then. That's when it will count. Just chill for now and look forward to completely nailing all those pre-reqs.
