Okay so its been 6 years since I went to nursing school...took the NCLEX-PN and failed...I was so discouraged I never took the test again...(I know bad)...okay so moving forward I recently got laid off from my job, and finally decicded that I should re-think taking the test again...Im curious to know where I should start...how should I study...you know...those types of things...I have my books, but I feel like Im reading gibberish....anyone know of any really good websites, or books that helped them??...Any help would be truly greatful....Thanks...

I'm not exactly sure, but don't you HAVE to take it within 3 years? Might be a state requirement.

Maybe take a refresher course

Not to my knowledge...I sent in my paperwork to take it last year...but again I stalled in picking my date...but that is defintely gonna call about tomorrow...In VA we dont have any refresher courses for PN...only RN...

Go to the bookstore and look at review books, pick out one that looks good to you and go home and go to it. When you schedule your test date make certain you give yourself enough time. If you can afford it and think you would like a jump start, you might want to sign up for and attend a live review or take an online review.
