4 year programs in Canada

Hello,

I'm soon to graduate from UBC with a BSc. Since my undergraduate GPA is not very high, I was hoping to apply to some 4 year programs in Canada using my high school marks.

Does anyone know of any institutions (e.g. universities, colleges, technical institutes) that would only look at high school marks? My high school average for math, chem, biol, and engl is at about 89%. Thanks for your help!

Umm..

There are lots of programs, including one at UBC.

BCIT is 3 years.

Douglas, Langara, VCC, Kwantlen, UFC = 4 years.

I know there are others within the provinces.. but since you mentioned UBC I am going to think you are local in the lower mainland.

Douglas is based on points, yea you get point for your GPA, but you get way more points for a degree, work experience and ect.

I don't know about the other school that much except your degree (even with you GPA) will help you application.

Good luck.

At ufv you get points based on GPA, Volunteer experience, an essay that you write, and your interview. And they only count GPA on required courses to get into the program. As well.. I had a GPA of around 80%... got in first try, i did have over 300 hours of volunteer tho and a great interview :)
