heyy everyone im a 20 year old male nurse who just passed his boards so i decided to join this website to get some info about wut its like being a nurse who works 3-11 shift which is the shift im going to work

Well, it's been a long time ago, but when I was a new single nurse I worked 3-11 as well. Can't say much for the social life and dating outside the profession is difficult. Most people who work 9-5, M-F, weekends and holidays off, don't understand our schedule. I was lucky to find a wonderful man who did understand--and still does. He understands because he used to work those hours as a deputy sheriff. You know--cops and nurses. It's true. For male nurses it's usually nurses and nurses. Good Luck!
