WSU waitlist experience

I guess I could add that I already have my BS in Biomedical Science...I previously thought that I wanted to be a PA. Then realized I wanted to be at the patient's bedside at all times in order to advocate and support them...among other things. I currently work as a CMA for an orthopedic trauma surgeon. My pre req GPA was a 3.87 (and I took higher level classes than most do for pre-reqs), TEAS test score was in the 95th percentile for the program, and I used to teach the nursing microbiology lab that all of the EWU pre-nursing students have to take. I think I messed up by submitting my application only a few days before the due date. It resulted in me being one of the last interviews and I could tell my interviewers were exhausted (and I was SUPER nervous and know I could have done better than I did).

I got in the waitlist too, and finger-cross waiting. Your overall is amazed and I heard somebody not get a call until the end June. I made a call to school, but did not get much information about waitlist. I am considering reapply for next semester and some other schools. Hope we both hear good news soon!

Glad to hear we are in the same spot! The school advised that I not worry about applying for the next round until the end of June! They also told me that we could get called up to the first day of school! Please let me know when you hear from them and I will do the same! :) what did they tell you about the waitlist?

She said just "wait", nothing we can do now, she also said that we can call back to check for any change

Just talked to the school again. She said they "aren't seeing a lot of action" for the waitlist this year. She said I should plan on applying for spring term again but that they are still waiting on hearing back from a "few" more students that haven't confirmed their admission yet so to keep my fingers crossed....

Will they tell you where you are on the waitlist? They won't tell me.

She did not tell me anything about waitlist ranking.

Has anyone heard anything about the waitlist?

I decided last week to reapply for Spring 2017. Also looking into NIC to get ADN....we will see!

I was also placed on the waitlist for WSU's Fall 2016 BSN program in Spokane, but I didn't get a call before classes started. I reapplied for Spring 2017 so I'm hoping I get some good news soon! If you don't mind sharing, what was your prereq GPA, cumulative GPA, and TEAS score? How did you interviews go? And what school did you complete your prereqs? I'd really like to know in which area I may have lacked in as a prospective candidate!
