WSU BSN SPRING 2020

Hey future nurses!

I couldn't find a thread yet for the WSU spring 2020 BSN cohort, but I wanted to have a space to discuss the application process, validate everyone's goals and start to form a community of future classmates and future nurses.

Feel free to post whatever you'd like, but I'd like to get to know where other applicants are coming from as far as healthcare experience/grades/TEAS, as well as any common struggles we have during the application process either to WSU or other schools.

Lets see where this goes ??

Hi!

What are your stas?

I have a 3.65 cum and 3.6 nursing GPA and scored an 86

(advanced)on the TEAS. I'm worried about getting in because I have pretty average to subpar stats just looking around to see what other peoples stats are to give me insight on my chances of getting in!

Which campus are you applying to?

Hey there! I started a thread for WSU spring 2020 when the application opened a few months ago. I think its called "Washington State University Spring 2020 BSN" if you want to search for it. There's only a few people who have posted to it so far, but I think some have posted their stats.

I applied to Spokane as a transfer. This is a second career for me. My undergrad GPA was around a 3.5, my nursing prereqs are probably like a 3.7 or 3.8 or something (all A's and one B in statistics - math is so not fun!), and my TEAS score was a 91.3%. I don't have much volunteer/patient care experience, but I did work in health/human services policy for a number of years so I'm hoping that will help me out a bit.

I'm both anxious and excited to hear about interviews in a few weeks!

Awesome! I am also very nervous hopefully I will get a chance to interview! Thank you for letting me know about the other thread; I will go check that out now!

Hey guys! Has anyone received a response yet? I applied for RN-BSN and I’m just wondering what the length of time is from application to decision?

Hi everyone!

I'm actually applying for Fall 20' BSN program. My prereq GPA is 3.8, I got a B on microbio ? and I scored 79% on TEAS. I'm very anxious because my TEAS is quite high and also I had a B on 1 of the science classes.

I wonder what the GPA and TEAS score of people who got admitted looked like...
