Working in the USA

Hi all, new to this website, I'm just entering my 4th year of my nursing degree in Ireland, and I was just wondering if anyone could give me any advice on how to go about working in the USA when I am qualified and registered in Ireland.

    Starting point would be meeting state board of nursing requirements, you will need to decide which state. Then once you have met requirements and passed NCLEX you then look for a employer willing to sponsor you

    CA will require a US SSN which you will not get until in the US with a valid work/immigrant visa. NY requires cvs from CGFNS and average processing times is 6-8 months
