Working for a Plastic Surgeon

I am curious about plastic surgery. What type of nurses work in those offices and what are the hours and pay like?

Thank you,

I would LOVE to work in a plastic surgeon's office....

No clue on the pay, but at this point, I don't care.... Love surgery, can't deal much longer with the management that has NO CLUE!!!!

I worked for a plastic surgeon for a couple of yrs. The pay sucked but it was definately less stressful than dealing with CLUELESS hospital managers/administration. I figured it was time to go when I started getting obsessed with what all I needed to have done! HA!! You will see the same people coming back over and over again to get a nip/tuck here and there. It gets ridiculous! Vanity Vanity. I think it would have been better for me to have worked in a plastic reconstructive setting--not cosmetic plastics. Cosmetics is very addictive for patients, as they are striving to look perfect. Unrealistic expectations is a real problem.
