i am part 2 on NMC register, any one the same working outside uk?

I think for you to get any replies to this thread you will have to explain a bit more about part 2 NMC register as unless people work in the UK they might not understand what you mean.

Point taken, but it was directed to nurses registered with NMC and have worked or are intending to work abroad and are on part 2 of the register,I hope that is clearer, and look forward to any feed back.

Helenmac, I work as an RN is London so understand Part 1 and Part 2. You can get jobs in Saudi, Holland and Canada. To work in Canada you will have to write to the boards of the province you want to live in and fill in the application forms to get your transcript from the NMC, references ect. Then you can work there if you get a job offer and before you get your exam as a Register Nursing Assistant Pending. Its hard to get a job offer though as Part 2 but a friend of mine did in a long term care home and she went there and is still there. If you choose to sit your exam first its a multiple choice questionaire of about 300 questions. But you can work abroad with Part 2. However if you dont mind me saying why not spend the 2 years converting part time and really open up your options?. Oh another Part 2 friend got a private job in Florida. Good luck!
