Working In Another Country While Processing US Green Card -- Is It Possible?

A stupid question to some perhaps but I just am starting to gain knowledge on how to really go about working in the US hopefully when I graduate. I'm wondering as this is a likely scenario for me.... I am a second-courser, planning to get out of the Philippines fast (heheh). But knowing that it will take time before I could get to work to US (where I'd ultimately want to work) because of the lengthy and complicated processing, would it be possible for me to work in another country (say, Australia, Canada, mid-eastern countries, etc.) while I process my application for US green card? Please enlighten me on this. Thanks in advance!

Why not?!

You can work anywhere you want.

Funny thing is that it is faster actualy to go to the US, provided that your documents are processed in a timely manner.

You can be in the US in about one year's time with a green card in hand if everything goes as planned, and you are not waiting for your agency to complete things. They usually forget to something or even pay the bill.

Or even forget to tell you that they have gone out of business and you are still waiting.

This is true, provided that you have your NCLEX-RN exam already completed. As well as have met requirements for the Visa Screen Certificate.
