Does any one here know if you can work as a CNA after you have taken the NCLEX and failed?

Sure, you can. It does not require a license, so there is no issues with working in that role. Just make sure that you do not do any procedures that require a license.
I was just told by someone that if you have given an attempt at the nclex and fail that you cant work as a CNA. I never really understood that, but would like to keep my role in the medical field other than something else to keep my mind set right while I study and wait to retest. Thank you Suzanne, everything understood about the scope of practice part.
They gave you very incorrect information.
You cannot work as a GN if you do not pass the exam, but nothing to do with the CNA role at all.
You can also do anything that does not require a license.
Best of luck to you.
Awesome, Thank you again. It was not making any sense to me when she told me that. Your gonna be working under a different certificate so it shouldnt matter, and it would make more sense to work as a CNA in the meantime rather than flipping burgers somewhere.
