I have applied to our local college (I'm in Ontario, Canada) for Practical Nursing. My question has to do with work and school. I would need to work 2-3 shifts a week as well as go to school. How realistic is this? I am used to working 40-50 hours or more a week in my home day care plus taking at least one course online at a time. I have applied to Patient Information at our local hospital. Anyone else work while attending college for PN?

It can be done. I worked 2 jobs(7 days a week) and went to school 2 evenings a week when I was in my RPN program.I was also a single mom of two small kids.
