i wanted to start a thread for anybody that need some extra luck and encouragement. it can be for anything you want it to be!!

for instance, today is the day that the nursing school that i applied to is going to decide if i should be in their program. i am nervous as crap and can't even think straight. i keep telling everybody to pray for me. i'm nervous b/c i failed the entrance exam the 1st time. i took it again a couple of weeks ago and nearly tripled all of my scores. my grades are good but they aren't straight a's like some of you guys but my g.p.a is above their requirements. i'm hoping that the school will see my determination and improvements. when i talked to the director, she said that i have all of the qualifications to get in.

wish me luck everybody and hopefully later on this week i will be able to post in the "if you got your letter post it here" thread.

thank you so much nursecadet!! i just can't get over how nervous that i feel. this is the school that i really want to go to. i wish i had all my stuff together when i first applied, may be i won't be going through this. lord knows that my friend got in and her g.p.a. just barely made the requirement. i'm not as smart as you though. that's what's confuses me. obviously they are not just choosing only those who makes 4.0's, they are giving everybody a chance. my scores are sort of in the middle so i hope that they will pick me. if i don't get choosen, i think that my life will be over!!:smackingf

by the way, i got the pm and when i get in the school, hopefully we can be study partners!!!:icon_hug:

Good Luck, and don't worry, you will get in. Go ahead and call them, they will tell you over the phone. When I was in the admissions office last week someone called and they told them that they were accepted. I'm not sure which program it was for. Hopefully not nursing, lol.

Wish me luck, I should find out if I passed the NET sometime toward the end of this week and hopefully find out if im in or not too.

i wish that i was finished with my pre-req's so that i could go straight for the rn program. lpn will just have to do for now, atleast its a step in the right dirrection!!!!

Girl, there is nothing wrong with going for your LPN. Just think about how much knowledge you will have when you start school for your RN.

Do you really think that I should call. I am so scared that I will hear, "Sorry you have not been accepted...." I will freak out so bad that I think my mom would have to put me in a crazy home:lol_hitti

Well if it were me I would call. I think that you are in for August. I want to call them myself but I know they haven't made a decision about me yet. Its driving me crazy:bugeyes: , its all that I can think about.

Ok, I just called Michelle and left a message. I'm wondering if she is out of town again b/c her answering machine said thur. apr.6? Boy let me tell you, that was nerve wreaking. I was a stuttering fool and my palms was sweating. I hope she returns my call, if not I will wait until wed to call again.
