Wish me luck...interview today

I finally landed an interview! Actually, I have two! One this evening, and another interview at a different hospital next week.

My interview this evening is for Med/Surg at a fairly large hospital (is 350 beds large?). Anyway, I'm so nervous! I usually interview well, but I am totally out of my comfort zone. I have never had hospital experience so I need to really sell myself. I've been in public health for 10 years, worked as a school nurse for the past 5 years.

I also have some reservations about this hospital but I'm trying to keep an open mind. It is for-profit. All charting is done on paper. This is THE BUSIEST floor in the hospital. Many years ago I remember hearing rumors about this hospital treating their nurses poorly and not providing enough training, etc. I'm not sure if that has changed. I'm used to our small, community hospital. My goal is to eventually work in L&D, and this hospital has an outstanding reputation for their L&D, so I'm hoping to get my foot in the door. Unfortunately it's at least an hour commute. I'll keep you posted.
