Will I study here or in the US?

Hi.

I'm from the Philippines and I'll be marrying my US fiance within 2 years. I already finished a bachelor's degree. However, I am planning to take nursing as a second degree. I am in a dilemma whether to take nursing while I wait and continue it in the US or just start my nursing school in the US.

Hoping for your replies. Thank you!

If I would take BSN in the US (New Jersey), I am wondering what are my possible jobs with my finished degree to fund my education? I graduated from a top University in PH that is recognized in the US. I have been searching social science jobs but there are only few vacancies and are not entry level positions. Although my fianće will help me with the fees, I will not let him shoulder everything. I'm afraid that I can't get a decent job and pay my nursing classes. It would be a great help to hear your advices. Thank you very much.

You will likely only qualify to work in some type of minimum wage job along with the thousands of other underemployed bachelor of arts grads.

Have you worked in the past? If so, what were your skills at that job? If not, you may have to try and find any type of starter job such as a food server or cashier.

I have worked as an Administrative Assistantin a hospital but just for 9 months.

Maybe you will find similar work in a US hospital,LTC or clinic? Where I am (Canada) the market is saturated with applicants and it's not uncommon for employers to receive a hundred resumes for one Administrative Assistant position.
