Why no one is hiring me? :(

I got my license RN last April 2016. I'm 1 year and 1 month here in my current job. I guess I have "experience" kinda for applying other job. I'm applying now in some hospitals, getting some interviews in different area but they never call back. I'm a RN and have a degree of BSN. Why is it no one is accepting me? I just feel hopeless and disappointed. I just want to have hospital experience.

From the limited information you have provided for us, there is no way that we can know why you are not being selected. Is it your interviewing skills? Are you applying for jobs that are realistic for your background? etc. We can't tell from your post. You need to get some feedback from someone in a position to know.

I suggest finding someone knowledgeable about your local job market to help you -- evaluate your resume, do a fake interview, etc. Such a person could give you some feedback that might help you job hunting efforts.

You landed some interviews, so your resume was effective. The fact that you did not get a call back after your interviews points to your interview skills.

Preparing ahead of time is very important. In my book "Your Last Nursing Class" How to Land Your First Nursing Job...and your next!" (link below) answers to all of these are given, along with sample cover letter, & resume.

Most important, it teaches you how to

stand out and show how you are a solution to their problems (patient satisfaction scores, teamwork, etc.). That's what you really have to do.

Here's an excerpt from the book:

In this chapter we'll cover some commonly asked behavioral interview questions. Nursing interviews typically include behavioral questions. Behavioral questions are designed to test for specific characteristics required/desired for your job.

They generally start with "Tell me about a time...Give us an example...Describe a situation...". They are designed to show the real you.

The manner in which you answer the question is telling. It isn't about confessing your weaknesses, exposing yourself, and being vulnerable. It's about demonstrating confidence, honesty and composure when asked a behavioral interview question. Show some personality. Don't be timid. Remember that stories will be remembered, so be prepared to talk in stories.

Prepare Three Examples

Examples are stories with a purpose. Stories are remembered. Examples make you memorable.

To prepare at least three examples, anticipate characteristics the employer will be looking for. Their questions will be designed to test for those characteristics. For example, you could reasonably expect that an RN employer may want to know about your:

Personal ethics and insight: "Tell us about a time when you made a critical mistake at work."

Customer service: "Give us an example of a time when you went above and beyond in customer service."

Conflict Management: "Describe a conflict with a coworker, and how you resolved it."

Flexibility: "Tell me about a time you had to adjust to a change at work"

Now, think back. Recall a concrete example of going above and beyond in customer service. Think of a time when you made a serious mistake, disagreed with a supervisor, faced an ethical dilemma, and so on. As you think back, more examples will come to mind.
