Why, why does Baker do this!!

Why do they not let you now who your teachers are until a week before the start date? Yet again I am stuck with a teacher that rated badly on rate my teacher.:no: I did not believe it last time but the comments were true.

Now I am stuck in yet another messed up A&P class praying that I can make it through without horribly lowering my GPA. I know that they need time to get the teachers lined up, but I am seriously starting to think they do it on purpose because certain teachers would not have any students if they weren't stuck with the class.

Hey, you know what? The people who write those horrible things on 'ratemyprofessor' are in the minority, are likely poor students, and just looking for a way to avoid the responsibility of having done poorly in class. People who are satisfied with their teachers do not write such vile crapola. Relax, and give your teacher a chance. You can always learn things from every single teacher you'll ever have, but not if you have the belief that you are somehow being cheated. You are not being cheated. Your classroom experience is what YOU make of it.

You got into a wonderful, competitive program, and you're going to be a nurse! You're going to expand your whole life experience and meet many, many fabulous people over the years. Please stop reading stuff on that website - you will never feel good afterward, and really, that website is grossly unfair and full of bad, bad vibes. Don't go there anymore, sweetie.

I just wish they allowed you to pick. There are several teachers I would love to have and I can never get in their class because of the way it is set up. It has nothing to do with the grading, I have dealt with them on a personal basis and know how they are.

A lot of the comments were true about my last teacher though. The class was a mess and we did not even finish what we were suppose to cover, so I feel like I was not given the knowledge I needed. I have to go back over the whole semester and re-read everything so I can feel more confident going into A&P 2.

I have found that most of the comments on the instructors from Baker were spot on.
