WHNP Certification HELP

Does anyone suggest a SPECIFIC study guide for this NCC exam. I feel that I am not getting enough from the Kelsey purple study guide book or even the newest red 2015 book. I feel it is just an overview, not much DETAIL. The questions are easy but feel the actual exam will be more difficult. The rationales are very vauge. What did you use? How long did you study for is my biggest question? Has anyone ever not passed the first round....Most important being out of school for so long....I am worried about the clinical skills. Does anyone else feel this way when they wait to take their boards and are not in the clinical setting anymore? Thank you kindly!

I have no specifics for you, however, is there a test prep group you can join? Is there a recently graduated WHNP that you can discuss rationale and specific study guides with? One of your local colleges could have these references.

Also, the nurse educator at your facility may have some ideas.

Good luck and best wishes!

I used the Kelsey purple book and felt well prepared. There's also an online test available for purchase somewhere, but that was 3 years ago so I don't have the link anymore.
