Which study method is the best?!

Ok, so I take my nclex-rn exam Feb 3rd! I did well in school, passed my Hesi exit exam the first time but all the practice tests I keep taking are ranging from 60-78%. My question is, is it better to study a review book or just do a bunch of practice questions to help prepare for the exam? Any other advice is greatly appreciated, Thanks guys! :D

Good luck.

I take mine on the 28th. I reviewed for a few weeks, but now work on practice questions opposed to reviewing. My scores are about the same as yours. The advice I have been seeing is...don't worry about scores. However, if you are anyways (like me, lol), I hear that those percentages are pretty average. That is what I am getting. I have been taking practice questions from many different sources just to get a good variety. Good luck and hang in there!

The method that works for you in the best! ;)

60-78% on the practice tests is actually very good. I believe getting 60-65% means you're in line with what is considered passing for NCLEX. I've been studying a Kaplan book that has small review sections before practice tests. Seems to be helping, but I guess I won't really know until I take NCLEX on Friday!
