Which one these would you take in order after a&p?

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Published

I'm taking a&p now this summer and can't decide what to take next semester.

Chemistry

Microbiology

Pathophysiology

Statistics

Pharmacology

Is it doable to complete this all by Spring/Summer of 2016? Or no. lol

It is doable if you manage your time wisely. What classes do you plan to enroll in for the fall?

I'm not sure. I'm trying to figure out which classes to take together. If I get into the ADN program at my community college (jan 2016), I'd like to take microbio and patho in the fall because those classes are part of the nursing program (you can take them before or during nursing). And somewhere inbetween now and the September deadline take the TEAS. If I don't get in, I will continue to take electives and go for BSN at the university. I'm afraid to take pharm with any science courses. I figured maybe take pharm and stats and some easier classes in the spring. and chem in the summer with whatever other electives I need. But I don't know!

I originally planned on doing the ADN and bridging over to BSN online. I have been taking classes at the community college and it is quite the commute, that I don't know if I can handle driving like that for the next few years. Now I am thinking of just going for BSN at the university 10 minutes away and take my time with the teas when I'm near done with electives.

Obviously I don't know what to do. :dead:

"doable" is subjective. If you like to party and are not willing to give it up them maybe not. If you are willing to go into animal mode with your studying than maybe yes. No one here has any clue of what kind of commitment you have to it. I have taken 21 hours of nursing classes in a semester and did well. So for me yes it is "doable". For you I have absolutely no idea.

What are your strengths ? If you are bad at math, for example, I would take statistics by itself so you can fully focus on that one subject. I enjoyed micro, very much. I was able to take it in conjunction with other courses. Evaluate yourself and choose based on your personal strengths, time management skills, and any other life factors that may come into play.
