Which Job? please help

Hello All,

I am looking for a prn job while I am in school SO I have one job offer on the table and one that could be..

I have one for 29.75/hr for a children's hospital and also I was thinking to apply to my old hospital where PRN is 36-38/hr!

I have just applied to my old hospital today….so won't hear back for about a month or more..proabbly ..the question is….I would have to turn down the offer at hand by tomorrow….because I told them I have other job offers and would like to hear from them?

What should I do? Reject the job at hand and wait for POSSIBLE job at my hospital? or go with it?

Well I'm thinking that it seemed that you wanted the first job because why else would you apply for it.

I'm confused though why you didn't apply for a job at your current hospital sooner then now, after you were given the offer of this other job.

I guess it boils down to were do you truly want to work. If you really want to stay at this hospital then yes I'd turn down the job and take the chance maybe. One question to ask yourself though is how competitive is your hospital. If there are a ton of apps coming in for one job opening and you think your chances are a little on the slimmer side you might be the one picked then I'd definetly consider highly taking the job that is yours for the taking
