The LPN program or the RN program? I'm beginning a part time LPN program then will enter the RN program. We're discussing building a house and I'm going to be in one of the programs during the process. I was just wondering which was more difficult and time consuming for some of you.
Thanks!

You need to think about what you want to do as a nurse. Do you want to be a LPN or a RN? Where do you want to work? There are differences. RN courses will of course be more advanced/in depth, but LPN is no piece of cake either.
I did LPN first, now in RN mobility program. This has worked well for me, a middle-aged mommy who needed to take it a little slower.
One thing is for sure, you won't have much of a life while you're in school and you really need to dedicate yourself to school to do a good job at it.
Good luck!

both are pretty hard. however, if you start out as an lpn, you can build on that knowledge when you go for your rn. my school's lpn-rn bridge course helped me alot.
good luck, whatever you do.

I want to be an RN. The CC I'm attending offers LPN then RN completion. I'll be doing both. I just wanted imput as to which you felt like you had to devote more time too. My husband is doing the building and I'd like to help out as much as I can.
