Which is the best option?

My wife just recieved her license (RN) in the great state of NJ; I hold Permanent residency in the US of A. My Question is; would it be faster if i apply for citizenship and then help her get a green card that way so that she can work or should we be looking for a hospital that can sponsor her. She is on F1 visa that expires at the end of the year and she has already used up her OPT on her previous graduation (social work).:uhoh3:

It's better to get sponsored!

Much, much faster for her to get sponsored. She can aslso get an EAD in just a few months.

If you apply for citizenship, it will be more than the time that it takes for her to get approval to work, and her F-1 will be long expired.
