I'm a 39 year old woman who would like to begin nursing school. Any recomendations on where to begin? I see some talking about beginning as CNA's and some diving right into a 4 year RN program. I have no clue as to what specific type of nursing I would like to do. I just know that I am looking for meaningful work and I think I can find that in nursing.
Thanks so much!

CNA may be a starting point for you whilst you decide what you want to do and what you can afford to do. There will more than likely pre requisites to do to meet nursing school requirements
