Where to Purchase???

Hello,

I am begining my CNA course in January and will need to purchase a stethoscope, gait belt, and blood pressure cuff. I am torn between the Littmann Clasic II SE, and the Cardio III. I am looking to get the best price online without getting ripped off, can any of you share the best online stores to purchase from?

Thanks, Mrs. Meg

from what I've heard, go with the cardo from littmann over the classic, I use the DRG cardio Ti-Lite and I love it, I would totally recommend it.

I like allheart.com the prices are great but the customer service can be lacking.

Love my Cardio III....everything is crisp and clear

I have a Cardiology III and love it. I see that you're buying this for a CNA class though....is your plan to go to nursing school? I only ask because as a CNA, the most you'll do with a steth is BP's. A cardiology III will do that, but it's like buying an analytical scale, accurate to 0.000000000g to measure your servings of pasta.

It will do it, but it's overkill and far more $$ than you need to spend to be effective....heck, it's very likely overkill for me in nursing school to listen to heart and lung sounds :-)

If you're intending to go on to nursing school though, I can definately see just buying the steth you'll then, now. Why buy two if you don't need to?

I am working toward doing that, but right now since I work full time I will be taking CNA, Phlebotomy, and EKG. Then I'll see about gettin A&P and some other's done. I would like to just do it all at once full time but you can't do that when you have a family to feed.

Thanks for you input! Mrs Meg
