HELLO:nuke:

I've recently relocated to Oahu, Hawaii and, I need help! I was always interested in becoming an R.N. I've wasted 4 years procrastinating only to realize I was painfully losing my dream.:crying2: Now, more than ever I'm determined. My only problem is where to begin?! I just need to get my foot in the door...so if anyone can help me, I would greatfully appreciate any advice.

-Thank you so much

It's great you know what you want to do. That's the first step. I would advise that you go to your local community college that offers an Associate degree RN program and speak with the advisor there. He/she can tell you what classes you need and how and when to apply. Then, simply begin taking the prerequisites and you're on your way. Good luck!!

Agree with Nursejoy. Find a community college with an ADN program and see an advisor. Community coleges have open enrollment so you wont have to take SAT's. Also, you may want to take the CNA course, probably also offered at the community college to get a paid job in health care right away.

Good Luck!
