Hey everyone,
I just finished my first week of school! :) I am going to Middle Ga Tech in Warner Robins. I had read that you can take the PSB anytime during your core classes. When is the "ideal" time to take it? I am taking four Core classes right now. Math, English, Psych, and Nutrition. To my understanding, I think there are 2 more cores that I need to take. Also, is there a way to study for the PSB, or is it just based on common knowledge? I want to do the best I possibly can. Thanks so much!

Hey Donna! It is true, that you can take it any time! You have to pay the $20 fee in the library and once you're ready to take it, you have to go to the testing center with your receipt in hand. Mrs. Surtain told me that there are study guides you should utilize inside the library or the testing center area. She also said it's best to get the test completed during the first 2 months of your last pre-req semester at the latest, in order to get the results back on time. I figure I'm going up there soon and seeing about them myself. I heard it's a lot of basics and then we'll have some Nursing situations on there, in which we must answer with the answer we would most likely do in the situation.
As far as when to take them, you have a little ways you can wait, considering you have two more courses after this one - but I'd take it whenever I felt ready. I'm in my last semester of pre-reqs and I'm taking it towards the end of next month. Good luck! :)
Thank you!! I don't have classes today, but I am going to the library, so I will ask to see the PSB test stuff. :)
You're very welcome! Good luck! I heard they have plenty practice/study books to spare. Hopefully you got your hands on one. :)
