When to start preparing

When is the best time to start preparation for NCLEX when you are in a 2 year nursing program?

The day you have your 1st nursing exam. I used Nclex prep books all through school. Most are broke down into body systems...so if I had a neuro test coming up I would do Neuro Nclex questions as part of my preparing for the exam.

Every semester my school had us complete an NClex journal where we had to do X amount of questions and could not turn them in unless we scored better than 80%.

I was lucky, by the time school ended I had done thousands and thousands of Nclex style of questions, I took Nclex in less than an hour knowing I had passed.

Best to make sure that you understand the fact while your in school in that way when you get out you only may need a refresher instead of having to learn the same topics all over again. Get as much info in while in nursing school
