When to start looking for position

I am starting my last clinical in Jan. When should I start sending out my resume? I am also looking to go west. Washington, Nevada, Arizona, Idaho, Wyoming, New Mexico.

My criteria is NP friendly, low taxes (no state income tax preferred). I would also like to work in a high need area to help pay off these horrendous loans. I wouldn't rule out overseas work as well.

I almost took a job in Afghanistan but the company didn't get the contract, if that give you an idea of what type of work I like.

Thanks for your help.

I think that if a move is involved, starting to send out resumes in Jan/Feb would be fine. It might take you a little while to get long distance interviews set up and then once you get an interview, you are going to want to scope out to see if the area meets your criteria. Good luck.
