What's your schedule like?

Hi Case Managers!

I've repeatedly read that field case managers and telephonic case managers have very flexible schedules.

How do you schedule your day? How many patients do you visit daily?

Is 200 cases to manage annually a high number??

Any information will help!!

Thank you all!

I am a field case manager, I usually see six patients a day. I do my own scheduling so if I need to, I can schedule around doctor appointments or picking a kid up from school. Doing so in the middle of the day though will obviously mean that I'll be working later into the evening.

Anyone??:whistling:
Patience is a virtue...the CM forum is not terribly active and expecting a response within the hour is not always going to happen.

I work from a home office and visit about three to four patients daily in the nursing home setting. My total case load consists of about 120 patients. I usually visit my patients in the afternoon and upload the required paperwork in the evening because I dislike mornings.

Thank you for both replies, I appreciate it very much...

@Thecommuter patience is a virtue, and I definitely do not have any expectations for responses but definitely glad some took the time to respond. Thanks again!
