What to study !?!?

Hi Everyone,

I will be starting nursing school hopefully in the summer or fall of 2014:nurse:. I am fixing to start taking Human Anatomy 1 & 2 . I want to start studying ahead of time before the semester starts and wondered if anyone had any suggestions on reading/study material? Also I want to get a jump start on studying for nursing school. So if any one has any suggestions on books or apps i could use to start preparing myself that would be great !!!

Thanks Bunches

I would say read the chapters, study the diagrams, and take all the self assessment tests there are in the book and maybe even go on quizlet and take even more! A & P I was harder for me, because I took it in the summer session. There was so much material to cram into a five week period. I barely passed w/ a C. Did better in A & P II with a regular semester, got an A. I know some people will tell you not to read ahead, but I would if I were you, even if all you read are the chapter summaries. We had the online tutorials that were graded for homework and I swear they are so time consuming, that's all I did for five weeks, just for a passing grade.

I would suggest buying the textbook now. Look online for last semester's syllabus (or email the professor for one) and start reading.
