What to do next...

Published

So I just finished CNA school and got a job at Memorial Hospital in Belleveille, IL. I work full time on nights and try and pick up extra shifts as much as I can. I know that I want to continue to go to school because I want to get my BSN. I have had some other college classes in TN but it was all Agriculture classes. I don't know what school I want to go to and I can't make up my mind what to do. All I really know is that I want to be back in school by the 2012 Spring semester as a part time student sence I work full time. However, I can go full time and I can always work with my work schedule and change it. I went to CNA school so I could work a decent paying job while going to school and now that I have that job I don't know what to do next. Its like I'm lost in another world because I can't make my mind up.

I'm open to any help and ideas of what to do.

Thank you for your time and help! :nurse:

I would recommend signing up for the Core Curriculum classes that are required by the universities in your state. They are the classes that are required regardless of the degree you wish to pursue. They usually consist of a lower and upper level writing course, a lower and upper level math course, science, and fine arts courses.. You should be able to take most of the classes at a community college and then transfer the credits to a university. This will give you some time to think about what you'd like to do with nursing school and also keep you in the school loop :)
