What to do while I wait?

Hi everyone!

Need some advice.

I'm in my Last 2 semesters of college,Full time student.

I've taken almost all of my pre-reqs ( Just need 2 more) for the program I'm applying to.

The program that I am applying for in summer 2012 needs a specific ACT score, which I am

studying for . Being a college student 5 classes, this semester is tough, especially trying to squeeze in

some ACT preparation. My concern is , I feel like I could do more? I mean , I don't want to be over loaded, but

I was hoping for some advice from Nurses that have gone through the tough times. What else should I do?

I've thought of Volunteering at my Local Hospital , but what else could get me into that program?

Thank you ! :)

What do admissions call for? There's a start... I did not specifically volunteer to get into NS, because that was not apart of admissions.

Admissions for the ADN program requires the ACT score to be greater than an 18 .

That would be pretty much it. So for the mean while i'm taking other classes that I would need to take for my bachelors as well.

Because at the University i'm planning on attending , in order to get into the BSN program you need to go through the ADN program first.

So basically the ADN is the pre req for BSN . Complicated I know haha

Thats kinda strange that a nursing program requires an ACT score....usually ACT and SAT score are to get into college generally and then you need a nursing entrance exam score to get in to the nursing school. Anyways, if you are already in college i would skip the studying for ACT because you already should have that knowledge and background to pass it with ease. An 18 isn't hard to get...i got a 24 or something (i think, 6 years ago) and I didn't even study when I was 16. Don't worry about that....you'll do fine.

Yea I thought that too, But they do require an ACT entrance exam.

And they'll base you off your scores. They give points, from What I see on the Application.

ACT is not hard, but I still should prepare, ha ! Better to be prepared than to not be at all.

Thank you :) Helped alot !
