Hello Everyone,
I am very new to the forum, and a have just been admitted to the R.N program this Fall 2010. I just received a letter from my college today saying that I must take an ATI TEAS test with a passing score of 67 in order to proceed with the R.N program at my college. I am from San Francisco CA and I am wondering if anyone took this test and what should be expected from it. I was also wondering if anyone has websites or book titles that may help in preparing for this test??? I am freaking out since the test is in two weeks
Thanks in advance for any feedback!

The TEAS is a standardized test...it reminded me of taking the SAT's and GRE's. there are four parts, I think English, Math, Science and Reading comprehension. If you google ATI Teas exam there is a website that recommends a book.I recommend you get it as it is a good review book and has practice questions that are similar type to the ones on the test.

OMG, Your attending CCSF this fall? I am attending CCSF this Fall as well. Thats awesome!! I just received the info about taking the teas test in the mail today! Do you know if the mcgraw study guide is an online guide or an actual book? If it is an online study guide, do you know what website i can download it from? That would be very helpful. Thanks in advance!!!
after you click the link, click on free user and wait a few seconds before it downloads the study guide.
Good luck

Thanks a bunch for the info! I was able to download the study guide from the above link. This will be a start for me since I haven't reviewed one bit and the test is around the corner Are you attending the orientation on the 18th as well?
i'm glad you were able to download the study guide
Yes i will be attending the orientation on the 18th, i doubt i will be able to take the teas on the dates given bcoz i already paid for my teas test on june 24th, but 2 weeks to study isn't alot of time for me.
I wish i had more time as well. I really have to get a move on and start reviewing. Did you purchase any other study guides or books? I've been browsing and reviews say the Test of Essential Academic Skills, Version V by Assessment Technologies Institute study manual is also helpful? Btw, on the letter it says that if the TEAS test was taken elsewhere, the first attempt test results must be submitted by May 25th @ 4:30 PM. Just a heads up, if you were planning to take it in June?
Good Luck Studying!
omg i did not read that part, i gotta read the letter all over again. can't believe i just lost $50 bux. thanks for letting me know.
i bought the ATI version v study guide at Barnes and noble, but i am not sure what version we will be required to take if we decide to take it at ccsf.
