I have my LPN orientation on January 8, my program starts on January 21, do you his suggest I bring anything to orientation, or take notes, or just sit back and listen to it all?

Hi Stephanie,

I had my orientation Dec 13th, I start my LPN program full time Jan 6, 2014. Just bring a notebook and pen to jot down anything that will be important for you to remember. They will likely provide you with your books, scrubs, and you will be introduced to the DON, she/he will be doing alot of talking she/he WILL let you know what they expect from you the student. Ask lots of questions!!! We had some students drop by our orientation and tell us what their experience has been like so far ( I think they where in their 2nd block/term) You will also meet your other classmates, you will have all age groups, from students just getting out of high school, to 30,40, 50 somethings!! So relax, sit back, take it all in, and let us know how it went!!! Happy Holidays!!

I had my orientation on the 18th. I start on Monday Dec 30th. Bring a backpack and a pen. We got our books and they provided backpacks but mine broke before I left because the books were so heavy. You will probably be signing forms so you will need a pen and I had to take a picture for my school ID so be camera ready just incase.
